Walk in Shelter Dinner Program

Members of First Congregational spend New Years Eve day preparing and serving a meal to variously housed persons in Paterson, NJ. The New Years Eve Dinner serves approximately 100 dinners to homeless, underserved, workers, and others who are in need of a meal.

This is made possible by many shoppers, cooks, bakers, preperation workers, baggers, slicers, dicers, servers, cleaners, and monetary support from not only members of the congregation, but also through the support of our local community. 

The New Years Eve Walk-in Dinner is a program of Family Promise of Bergen County - Join us to help prepare and serve, or donate food/supplies to make this New Year's Eve dinner special for those in need.
