One of the most significant parterships we have is with the Family Promise Day Center, which allows families to stay in the Family Center on Saturdays, Sundays, and Holidays, when the Family Promise office is closed. Although families are free to come and go, the Center operates as a home base.
Members of First Congregational help provide a presence at the center and plan actvities for children. Currently we are volunteering at the Center of the fourth Sautrday of every month. On each Saturday there are three shifts of two people needed during the course of the day.

Thank you to everyone who voted for Family Promise in the great Ikea Makover Challenge! They Won!
Volunteers from IKEA transformed the Family Center into a fresh, welcoming and functional space with tons of storage for our families! Among the improvements were a new refrigerator and new computer and desk for people to do job searches and the kids to do homework. Another computer will be added soon! A reading nook with new books, new dining chairs, and a redone laundry room with storage cabinets for each family.
